2011 Jiwan Giri, former ICASIT intern, assisted in the development of an ICASIT proposal to assist the Nepal Wireless Project, and also assisted in preparing two articles on that topic.
2012 Iqbal Achmed, Schar School graduate student, augmented consolidated and updated the ICASIT ICT database, close to 100 topics, each with a large number of citations, videos and reports. This was used as a class resource in the 2012 and 2013 version of the Internet and Public Policy course and was also used by several high schools and other academic institutions.

2013 John Gudgel, PhD student, worked with the ICASIT director to prepare teaching materials about the Internet of Things, and was trained in the use of distance learning technology, ultimately developing an on line lecture on the topic independently.
2014 Meizou Song, Schar School graduate student and ICASIT intern, augmented,consolidated and updated the ICASIT ICT database, close to 100 topics, each with a large number of citations, videos and reports. This was used as a class resource in the 2014 version of the Internet and Public Policy course and was also used by several high schools and other academic institutions, some as far away as Australia.
2015 Jenna Delgado, graduate student and ICASIT intern, developed an extensive database on technology interventions in post secondary education and K-12– it was used extensively in the graduate course the Technology Tuition Paradox, and also was helpful in several other research activities.
2016 Khasboo Bhatia, Schar student, worked with ICASIT director Stephen Ruth on her senior research project, on Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
2016 Graduate student Merone Hailemakil developed a large database for a fall graduate elective course called Blogs, Social Networks and Public Policy.
2016 Rising senior Joseph Nieves used a summer internship to enhance the ICASIT database.
2017 Senior Leohana Carrera developed a current database for the eighty topics available to students in Spring 2017 graduate course called Internet and Public Policy—Technology or Tyranny?
2017 Graduate student Wei Ren completed on a database of technology challenges that was used in a Fall 2017 elective course to be taught by Professor Ruth
2017 Graduate Student Guchenwu Jia is completing a specialized report of Information Technology 2018 challenges, with particular emphasis on AI and Robotics
2017-2018 Senior Monika Anic, an OSCAR student, joined Prof. Ruth and Prof. Delton Daigle in a new ICASIT research project aimed at developing insights on the demographics of faculty teaching distance learning. She has also developed a new ICASIT database to assist hospice volunteers.
2018 Senior Lauren Foust, from URAP program, will be working with Prof. Ruth and Prof. Daigle on several ICT-related research projects. She has also developed a new ICASIT database to assist jail and prison volunteers. Lauren also received an OLLI scholarship of $1,000 recently based on her work at ICASIT.
2018 Graduate student Nan Meng completed a revision of a technology database.
2018/2019 Graduate student Jinhee Yi joined ICASIT for a summer project involving assisting in reconstituting a core course call Culture Organization and Technology, and also maintained the new ICASIT database to assist jail and prison volunteers. In spring 2019 she and Professor Ruth wrote and published a conference proceeding article, Ruth, S. and J. 2018 Graduate student Cherrita Guy joined ICASIT for a summer project involving development of a new database involving serious ICT problems, especially in AI, algorithms and robotics, and also set up a database of legislative attempts to deal with similar problems. In addition, she maintained the new ICASIT database to assist jail and prison volunteers.
2019 Graduate student Augusta Nissly worked on several database projects plus a research article.
2019 Kevin Lin, Schar school grad, assisted in several database tasks, especially about taxation policy and Artificial Intelligence hazards. Also, he and Professor Ruth published an article on faculty perceptions of on line learning, titled “The strategic paradox of online learning: administrators and students approve–faculty not so sure”
2020 Uhunoma Edamwen , Schar School grad student, has already developed an extensive database of articles, reports and videos related to over 50 Information Technology challenges.
